Today,We must be  proud and grateful because  we can communication with other people with no limit.People can talk or contact with friends , family , their teacher and many other people. We can also share files , video , picture and  opinion to all around world with quickly and widely. All of that come from Network.We used it by daily.

Network

Network is a collection device and computer that connected together via communication devices and transmission media.

Network Architecture

The configuration of computers,devices, and media on a netwrok

Categories of network architecture: 

1. Client /server network

On a client/server network,one or more computers act as a server , and the other computers on the network request services from the server

2.              Peer-to-peer Network

Each computer,called a peer, has equal resposinilities and capabilities , sharing hardware (such as printer), data, or information with other computers on the peer-to-peer network

Network Topology

 A network topology refers to the layout of the computers and devices in a communications network 

Types of Network Topology

1. Star

All the computers and devices (nodes) on the network connect to a central device.

2.                       Bus

A bus network consists of a single central cable (backbone) , to wthich all computers and other devices connect.

3.              Ring

On a ring network , a cable forms a closed loop (ring) with all computers and devices arranged along the ring.

                    




 

Classification of Network 

Local Area Network(LAN)

A local area network(LAN) is a network that connects computers and devices in a limited geoprahical area .Such as home, school computer laboratory, and office building

Metropolitan Area Network(MAN)

A metropolitan area network(MAN) is a high-speed network that connects local area network in a metropolitan area.

Wide Area Network(WAN)

The internet is the World's largest WAN.Cover a very large geographical area such as states . countries, and continents
